Bringing art to New Orleans to revitalize and contemporize

a historic city.

The Helis Foundation has supported Prospect New Orleans – a citywide contemporary art triennial and the first exhibition of its kind in the US, with a decade-long history – since P.3, which launched in 2014 under Artistic Director Franklin Sirmans.

The Helis Foundation contributes to Prospect’s operating expenses and specific artistic presentations, including the groundbreaking “Basquiat and the Bayou” at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art during P.3 and Mark Bradford’s project at the Contemporary Arts Center during P.5.
