Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners that are chosen by guest juror Hallie Ringle, who is the Hugh Kaul Curator of Contemporary Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art and is responsible for curating the works that are submitted. Additionally, a $5000 award sponsored by The Helis Foundation will also be granted to a participant to use towards their work.
