SuperTalk Mississippi: Mississippi ‘Dingbat’ featured in Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition

Dingbat sculpture

For Mississippians traveling to New Orleans this holiday season, they can now view a piece of home on Poydras Street in downtown New Orleans.

Oxford native and artist Earl Dismuke now has a sculpture installed as part of the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition presented by The Helis Foundation, the South’s leading rotating public sculpture exhibition. This fall, the exhibition added five new sculptures, including Dismuke's.

Artist Earl Dismuke joined Rebecca Turner on Good Things to talk about his sculpture.
